- Funding supports a week long teacher training that precedes the four week summer camp offered by the Centro de Terapia Recuperativa Física y Educativa (MAN Especial.)
- This taller will allow the teachers in the community to gain extra training in the area of working with children with special needs. Teachers will gain hands on experience with creating didactic materials to use in the classroom and will be presented with many topics relevant to teaching today in the Dominican Republic. Improving the skills of the teachers in the community will strengthen the quality of education in the schools in Sabana de la Mar, and thus strengthen the quality of the lives of the children
- Used to buy manuals/texts that would be given to all the participants, all the materials used by the participants, the materials used to give the taller, certificates of completion and refreshments for the participants of the taller
